It took me a while to realize that chasing perfection is an endless path. Actually there is no such thing as universal perfection. Everyone has its own. Being a photographer, I used to adore (and I still do) some of photographers, and wished I could do photos like they do. One of them is Jose Villa (the photographer that took pictures of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra), with his stunning Fine Art Photography. On the other hand I loved every single photo from Peter Lindbergh. Both extraordinary photographers, with a completely different style.

On Instagram and other social media, you can see there are millions of similar artists like Jose and Peter. But what is really your style? I have to admit I had trouble presenting my work on Instagram in a way that when you would look at my account, you could immediately see what my style is. Why? Because I love more styles, not just one. And I think that is a good thing. That’s me. I am not pretending to be someone else and copying their style. I simply adjust to the situation and after the first meeting with my clients, I already have a vision in my head. I know exactly how their photos will look like at the end – before I even start taking them.

Doing your best every time is the key. It’s how I ended up on adventures with the talented ladies who helped me create my vision of Dawn at the Art Gallery of Alberta. Sometimes I feel like Bradley Cooper assembling a group of talented people together and creating a hit! 🙂

This blog post is the best way to end this very successful year as a photographer. For both Matt and me. We traveled to so many places, met so many interesting people, and learned so much!

Thank you all, and I can’t wait to meet up with all of you in the New Year 2019!
